The summer can be a hectic time for all of us fans in the world of sports. From the NBA Finals to The FIFA Women’s World Cup, there are so many diverse and entertaining games to watch. But this summer, I have a singular focus: The Premier League.

The Barclay’s Premier League is one of the biggest Football (or Soccer, as we call it) leagues in the world. Twenty teams compete not only for league glory, ut to participate in European club competitions. Those competitions are the UEFA Champion’s League and the UEFA Europa League. I’ll dive into those competitions when they get closer, but for now, I am focusing on the twenty teams in England’s top flight.

Leading up to the first matchday, I will focus on each and every team in the Premier League. Each article will be a breakdown of the club’s history, current players and managers, transfer targets and which players I think each club should buy and sell. The best part: I will predict where each club will finish the season.

This is my first major undertaking in journalism. I hope it will be as enjoyable for the readers as it is for me. If you are a lifelong fan of the sport, hopefully, these articles will hold over until the kickoff on August 9th. If you’ve never seen a Premier League match, I hope this sparks your interest in the sport.
